Thanks to the New York Times, here is a pic of James Cameron on set of his new movie Avatar.  It seems to be him standing on the deck of a spaceship, perhaps alien or futuristic human.  There’s a green screen in back of him as well.  Normally this wouldn’t be much of news, but since there’s been so little visual evidence of this movie (no trailer, barely any pics), and it’s a director who’s brought sci-fi classics like Terminator 1 and 2, and Aliens to the screen, this movie is eagerly anticipated.

The NY Times article is mostly about the future and business of 3-D movies, which Avatar is, and not so much about the movie itself.
