According to an interview in IF Magazine Zach Snyder would love to adapt Frank Miller’s classic graphic novel “The Dark Knight Returns” into a movie.  He says he knows his chances are pretty thin considering the current success of the franchise with Chris Nolan directing and Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

After seeing the 300 adaptation, and so far from the trailers of Watchmen, it looks like Snyder would actually have a decent shot of making it decent.  Who knows, if Chris Nolan ever gets sick of doing Batman, perhaps we will see a Zach Snyder adaptation of “The Dark Knight Returns”?
